Guys, what do you think is lighter, the hotckis sways or stillen sway bars?? I know that hotchkis say that the sway bars are hollow and lightweight, but I some comments saying that the hotchkis sways bars are heavier than the stillen sway bars and stock sways

Thanks guys for the replies,
Here's something....CARBON Seibon's carbon fiber doors for the 370z are out. http://www.seiboncarbon.com/test2/up...oducts/938.jpg Don't know if it's wet carbon or dry carbon or really where to buy it (Probably costs $2000 as I know)... I just posted it cause it looks cool and contributes a little to weight loss. They're outside panels for the doors and yeah.....cooooool |
 I think I shat myself. Those are nice!!!! My guess is 800-900 a door

http://www.the370z.com/brakes-suspen...brake-kit.html These are single-handedly the best weight reduction you can make to these cars. The weight loss is both rotational and un-sprung. These rotors are the equivalent of removing about 200-220+ lbs of static weight from your car!! ;) |
the stock doors are aluminum, so it would be near retarded to switch to carbon. switching glass would net a better savings

FOB is 35 grams.
http://imgur.com/I8s8Rl.jpg FOB without key is 21 grams. http://imgur.com/mw5idl.jpg So to shave 14 grams, drive without the key in it. :icon17: Actually, I just saw a scale and wanted to contribute to the thread. |
try remote mounting the key low and to the rear of the car - better cg
