I still prefer to screw it in, but if you cant drill then 3M tapes, just follow the instructions.

I did 3M on my last car and it held up 20K+ miles before I got rid of the car. I didn't want to drill at the time because I was too much of a wuss to do it (still am), but it was actually very tough to removed when I parted it out, that stuff works really well. I bought a roll of this Amazon.com: 3M 03614 Scotch-Mount 1/2" x 15' Molding Tape: Automotive

There's also this. Not used it yet but will give it a shot when I put on rear spats and diffuser.

I think that is the official one for the sports spoiler. But I thought it might give you an idea of how to build one. You can see how they use the bottom and the sides of the trunk as reference points.

I guess the way I would do it (and this is all just hypothetical).

I would first cut out a piece of paper in a similar fashion as pictured, but somewhat rough at first.

Than center it on the trunk, tape it and mark the reference points at the bottom and sides. Draw a center line vertically on the template.

Then place the wing on top of the paper, as it would attach to the car and trace the outline of the wing. Remove the template from the trunk and cut out the excess.

Than tape it to the underside of the wing using the outline created mark the holes and you are ready to go.

Another option I would consider is maybe putting some kind of fluid or gel on the edges of the holes, that would be non-damaging to the paint, and carefully placing the wing on the trunk in its intended location and hopefully get the liquid to show where the holes would be.

Sorry just saw it.

Usually there is one spot aligning with the tail light spoiler (easy to find) will only fit there mark that with the tape and stick it with silicone. We prefer not to use 3m tapes that much, as it increase an odd gap between part and body.

When installing it on sport trunk it lines with the holes so i think maybe that causing some issue in yours. Mainly we are not molding it. Adding some screws after silicone can give added strength.

He has a base, so no holes in the trunk. He is wondering the best way to mount it. Whether it is by drilling holes, or using something else. So you are recommending silicone without drilling?
