Wideband readings fluctuate heavily. Its not like a temp gauge where it slowly moves one way or the other as things gradually get leaner or richer. A/F is all over

Wideband readings fluctuate heavily. Its not like a temp gauge where it slowly moves one way or the other as things gradually get leaner or richer. A/F is all over the place and changes in an instant. Under full throttle you will take very brief glances at A/F to make sure you dont need to shut down for some reason. It would be like only having a split second look at a dial watch versus a digital one. For me personally, it takes a moment for my brain to translate a pointing dial into a number I can process... Maybe I am wrong, but I feel like a dial wideband would be really hard to get meaningful information from.
