It has a synthetic media (not paper or any of that crap) and is backed by a wire. The pleats are nice and thick and the only other filters that even come close to it are Royal Purple and Amsoil.

What's the Fram part number, FPS7317?

I'm using Purolator PL 14610 without issue.
