Default Review on the Clutch Helper Spring

I'v been scoping out threads about it and decided to purchase it and installed it a week ago or so.

For $20's it is definately worth it and a necessity I would suggest. It gives you back some normal clutch operation yet it doesn't quite fix the issue completely although better than the stock spring. The clutch still grabs at the top pedal height, and there is only a milimeter of clutch grab giving you no play within the engagement/disengagement point, thus not letting you feel the clutch.

I would recommend the AJS (forgot manufacturer name) pedal assembly if the statements are true that it brings all the normal clutch operations back to the car and you have money to burn.

Just my two cents

Did you ever drive with no spring at all? I took mine off a few days ago and can not even notice that "dead pedal" that so many complain about when being springless.

I have the clutch spring, I could tell a difference, don't have to kick the clutch as hard.
You should also check out the shifter spring from Z1, that made a nice difference to me.

I've ran no spring for over four years and don't notice anything.

My spring was taken out pretty much the day I got the Z. Not being my first, I knew it'd be the first thing to do. In my first, I got a replacement spring like the one you got. This time, I'm just leaving it out, no big deal. I feel like the replacement spring does little beside help keep the pedal more stable.

I haven't tried without the spring yet. I just rather keep a spring there but I'm sure you all are right. I was tired of the clutch pedal pushing against my foot when releasing so I went with a less stiffened spring.
