So to recap from those who know, to install the cams correctly, you would need rods and pistons as well? Anything else? Does anyone have links to the pistons and rods that would go with the cams? Just curious as to cost.

CTD-GERMANY have what u ask 👍 or go with jun they have stroker kit and cam

Im using 93 octane and 5w30 red line oil with mods and cam i hit 361.4 whp before tune and now with tune have 378.6 whp. Yestrday night

Also, I'm pretty sure more ppl will go that route if the price is right for all the parts

Ive been on the jun website before and all they have for sale for the 370z is the cams and a bigger throttle body. I think their stroker kit is a prototype and not for sale yet

Even if he is at 378 we still don't have a baseline. Alot of information not on the table.

Great job! Glad the vvel reset got you back in track.

A baseline is good to see by how much those mods increase power but at then end if he's pushing 378 those are great results

You gotta be the stateside beta tester for this bro.
I missed my chance while my engine was out because there was no evidence or reasoning as to this mod working. But time to man up! :p

brucelidat 06-01-2014 11:04 AM

Elia, what were your trq numbers? Can you post your dyno sheet?

Maybe, trying to figure out hat I would need and how much actual cost would be.

Although navyboy is the real beta, he's just not done yet.

No problem glad you were able to get it corrected.

Jun themselves only claim 15-20whp gains from the cams which is why anything more than that is hard to believe without other supporting mods. We all know manufacturers usually post optimistic gains. That's a big thing holding me back from trying the cams unless there are some supporting mods that make some of these high numbers easier to have confidence in.

Thats 15-20 hp with no other mods. When I visited JUN they said that the cams were made to be used with stock everything even stock air boxes. To me that's pretty good
