Wanting to do a lightweight pulley on my 14' with 200 miles on it but didn't know if you guys would choose one over another?

Will a pulley, exhaust and g3's cost me my factory warranty ?

Thanks!

Nothing costs you your factory warranty. If you add an aftermarket part and the dealer can prove that addition caused your failure, whatever failure that might be, they can refuse to cover the repair under warranty.

G3 and Exhaust should not affect anything. The pulley would probably prevent you from having any engine warranty item covered but it'll be specific to your dealer.

And if you have any major engine problems, revert to stock and you'll be fine

I figured this would be the case but I wanted to hear from someone smarter than I.

Sounds like the pulley may not be super easy to do but I figure I'll go for it anyway. I think I'll go with the Stillen pulley unless there are any objections ?

if you have motor problems, good luck getting that pulley off the car

iirc there was a video GTM posted forever ago where a lightweight pulley fused to the shaft and made it literally impossible to remove(i think it has to be torched off)

just stick to basic bolt ons until you're out of the 3 year/36k warranty

I took mine off when I boosted the car, it came right off...but in hind sight, it was a waste for the weight it drops, go with a LW flywheel instead, that will drop some weight.

And but this is cheaper (granted for MUCH less gains) but it's worth it IMO

lol well i trust that because they had a video of them attempting to impact it off and then eventually torching the sucker off, iirc it was either a stillen underdrive pulley or stillens lightweight pulley one of the 2
