on my car, where my fuel lines are nearest the turbo system, i used reflective heat tape over all the pipe, and then DEI fire sleeve over all that, a longer single piece that spans over the unions and all.

That fire sleeve stuff is awesome... so long as it is not in direct physical contact with the source of heat, i love it.

Good call, I wasnt sure if I should wrap it, doing it now!

The upgrade is $130... which is pretty much the cost of materials for the filter and the pieces to make the little hardpipes to get it in!

If you wanted the parts to reverse flow the sending unit, looking at another $100-125 in hardware and fittings (i gotta add it up, havent put that in the spread sheet yet). There is more than meets the eye to that because the hose from the sending unit to under the car is also replaced. However, if running a pump smaller than the 400/485, I am not sure if there is much point to do that to it. The -5 between the pump and sending unit hat is probably adequate.

Are you going to physically cut out the stock filter, or just bypass it?

I'm not going to do the reverse flow just yet. I do want the hard pipe/filter so I can get an E85 tune in the near future and take it from there after we get some data. I sent you an email to verify total w/ shipping.

Thanks,

CJM Twin Fuel Pump

I like your new option for the drop in twin pump. I think that will be my next purchase!

I have actually had those since like 2010! Its based on the 350z design, which I have sold hundreds of now. All that had to change was the overall depth, level sensor mount type, and connector type for the in-tank siphon hose.

Coincidentally I am shipping a 370z twin to hong kong today! He purchased it in the 255/485 configuration. I havent done a 370z one with that configuration yet... but recently a tuner found the max of our 255/485 twin in a 350z.. he made it to 980rwhp with E98 fuel! So we are looking at over 1000 on E85... and obviously well above sanity with normal race gas.

Adding the twin pump to our S2 or S2SE would make for a S3SE kit. It requires an external filter, so you will be setup for that. So the S3SE is basically our S2SE only with the twin pump, and the extra hoses to connect the twin pump to the hardpipe/filter setup.

I got your email yesterday. I am making some more hardpipes and filter setups for the S2/S2SE this weekend. I have a couple orders that just came in so I will be taking care of that... your rear filter/hardpipe upgrade is on the list.
