I used the shorter Gates belt. I'm glad I kept the stock belt though now that I had to put on the stock pulley. So far since getting it back from the dealer I see no leaks but can still smell some oil. There must still be some on the block where I couldn't reach with the spray nozzle. Hopefully it will burn off soon and I can have some peace of mind.
