Got the car back last night after the headers and pulleys were installed. What a difference It goes like a bat out of hell. It gets to 80 km much quicker from a standing start. Its scary fast when you put all the mods together. My mechanic who installed the parts could not believe how fast it excelerates. now. 4.08 gears plus Stillen G3 intake, CBE, cats, headers, with the underdrive pulley and overdrive pulley on the altenator with a cobb tune. Car will be dynoed next week. The voltage did not move on the gauge 14.3 to 14.4.
12.6's here we come !!!

Can you guys recommend online sites to order the Gates belt? I haven't checked with my local AutoZone yet.

Mike, I'm going to order the pulleys in a few weeks and have my dealer install it. Do you guys still carry the gray color?

You should be able to locate the belt at your locat AutoZone, Oreilly, PepBoys, etc.

And yes, we will always have the gray and red kits available :tup:

In for dyno results on a 370z, seems like a cool mod and I can always sell them if and when I go F.I. $200 is a great price as well.

IF/WHEN you ever go with a supercharger that is driven off the crank pulley, you can remove the underdrive crank pulley and contact NST for a lightweight OEM diameter crank pulley, or install the OEM Nissan pulley.

You don't need anything else, no other modification of any sort is necessary. And as far as HP, TQ, and throttle response goes... please check page one of this thread. This is a VERY noticeable performance booster.

Just for reference, the dyno chart from our latest R&D project, the BMW 335i...

That is the worst looking dyno graph I have ever seen in the 13 years I have been involved in getting my cars dynoed. Is that erratic power and torque as well as curve typical behavior for of a BMW engine???

JB-370z 03-17-2010 05:13 PM

Do you think these will pair well with a turbo system???

Not entirely sure. This was the first 335i we have put on a dyno, and it was not running the OEM BMW map. But one thing is clear, the NST pulley made a noticeable difference across the RPM band.

We'll be testing with a bone stock 335i in the next couple weeks and will compare the behavior.
