What size are the inlets/outlets on those catch cans going to be?

-10 for this catchcan setup, they will be 100% AN fittings. We also carry a complete line of hose/fittings/adapters etc fo AN style hose both push-lok and stainless steel types along with parker race-lite.

Perfect. Once you get the baffling sorted out, post a pic. Also, how do you mount those?

AzSpeng 01-03-2014 09:34 AM

baffling is sorted out and ready to cut. just dont know if ill be outsourcing the waterjet work or if we will be doing it in house (we have a deal we are trying to work to purchase a $130,000 waterjet cash since no one will finance us.)

same with the coolant overflow tanks, the bottom half is designed and needs to be waterjet cut also. Thats the hold up with the products right now (and the cnc press brake isnt here yet.) Everyone is taking their sweet time delivering machinery.

We plan to mount these with waterjet cut, stainless steel sheet, press broke unto a mount that will attach to either the top, bottom, or both of the catch can.

I would like to see some brushed aluminum finish to match the bits and pieces on the 370z. I like to keep things looking OEM. What other parts are you considering making? Will you make all the caps for oil, coolant, etc same design? I would like to get a matching set...in brushed aluminum (which of course you offer it raw I can get finished).

AzSpeng 01-03-2014 11:35 AM

i dont have the means to do a brushed finished just yet with 100% uniformity. We dont really believe in doing things by hand if you will, things need to look the same from part 1 to 1000. We have a ton of $$ out in equipment right now and in the future we can buy the equipment to put a brushed finished on flat and round parts, however its just not in the budget right now...maybe a few months from now.

that all being said, every product we do now will have a cnc machined finish to start, and most likely will be anodized or wrinkle black powdercoat. powdercoat hides a multitude of sins like scratches and other manufacturing defects, thats why its so popular....anodize sets the boys apart from the men!

But to answer your question...yes the caps will match and we will sell different styles of caps as time goes on. Its also not unrealistic to say that we will offer custom laser engraving on the products such as your name or what have you in the neat future also.

AzSpeng, as per our PM, since I can't attach pictures to them, here are the pics. These are just rough measurements to get an idea of what space you have to work with.

I would want brushed myself, but since that's hard to do, I dunno what other materials you could use?

Ti would be too expensive.
Can you do synthetic materials?

AzSpeng 01-03-2014 12:11 PM

if there was enough demand we could purchase the machine to do it...just need alot of products that want brushed aluminum.

we can machine anything from aluminum, steel, inconel, titanium..etc...

What parts of that would I be making? All of it?

Essentially yeah, I dunno who would make blanks that you could start from?

It would just be nice to have something that's "bolt-on" like the MT guys get... With no modification of the shifter stalk to make it work.

AzSpeng 01-03-2014 12:19 PM

I can make it all ;) just wondering if you wanted that surround piece out of aluminum or just the shift knob itself

I have the manual trim surround now, so I've got the boot and everything. Essentially, any knob that is made the same as an MT knob should work. Just the internals will need to be different.

all the plastic silver pieces in the car in Ti!! mmmmmmmm jkjk i dont have that kinda loot! haha

XPNSD IT 01-03-2014 04:12 PM

Thanks for that info. I will be in for the CNC finished parts to allow custom finish. And like that you will possibly be able to add custom engraving.

Just some input, maybe you could edit your 1st post to include parts you're currently working on and progress(i.e. Radiator Cap - Manufacturing or Dip Stick - Production) that way we don't have to keep asking for updates and reading all the posts. Really like you are putting in effort to get us some parts and will defiantly be a customer!

AzSpeng 01-03-2014 05:11 PM

Updated the first post, ill update the progress as things get further.

Plan on seeing TOOOONNNSSSSS of cool stuff in the near future. We are also working on a blog that will be a complete listing with pictures and details of how products are made etc.
