is this normal? transmission sound.

I am not sure it a throwout bearing because when those typically fail, they'll cause a rattling sound that goes away with pushing in the clutch. Clunk could be caused

Clunk could be caused by transmission mounts being lose. Hard to tell without more information or symptoms.
