Brand new car - oil question

Totally fine. Expect a lot of different things like burn plastic/rubber smell, slight smoke, etc during your break in period. I smelled burned plastic till 1500 miles!

Congrats on the car. Any pics?

thanks AK, I love knowing that my brand new car with 11 miles on it will have a nice burning smell, with the site of hardly any oil!

Yes, I will have pics and a new avatar soon. I got to the dealership at 5, and didnt get out of their till 8!

I ordered back in March, finally got this thing and Im really excited.

I smell rubber / plastic still at 1100 miles, those first few days I had it I was wondering wtf was going on...lol

I figured it was due to the premium gas (that alone does also smell different!)

Anyhow, it's not so much now. Tires grip a WHOLE lot better now too...lol
