Should have done zero damage. It doesn't bother the transmission and the rev limiter will protect the engine if you don't get off the throttle fast enough. Embarrassing to you

Should have done zero damage. It doesn't bother the transmission and the rev limiter will protect the engine if you don't get off the throttle fast enough. Embarrassing to you but not damaging to the car unless you leave your right foot on the floor or pop it back into gear at high revs.
