Talking GarageLine: 370z Racepipe & Catback Dyno Tune

Well I figured the best way to introduce myself formally around here is to actually do something. Finally got a chance to put my 370Z on the dyno and do some tuning with our current goods. Always good to experiment a little bit before doing some serious modifications.

Car 2010 370z Touring:

GarageLine Racepipes
GarageLine Dual Catback Exhaust
Uprev Tuning Suite

First Dyno Pull of the Night:

First Dyno pull car was definitely wasn't happy. Making all of 297 whp and looking very jagged. Didn't appear to be very happy. So I started with the Target AFR Shooting for a 12.9 or so AFR. Car didn't exactly run 12.9 AFR more like 12.5 and then i would dive into the 11's by 6500 rpm.

Rev Limit:

At this point I was ready to change the rev limiter to 8000 or so. I settled Throttle Control Limit at 8200, Fuel Cut at 8100 and Fuel Restore to 8000.
Car started to sound pretty good as I kept making pulls and adjusting the fuel curve.

Timing Map:

As many of your know the timing map isn't exactly btdc timing so I made a few changes. Then watched what actual timing in the log would do. Based on Burn Timing Value and then compare that with the timing in the logger. I got it to be consistent but I am sure I am going to play around with this a bit later to get a true correlation of it function.

It seemed that around 28-30 degrees on the top end is where I would make my best power. I'll keep logging to see if it changes then alter my map as I go further with developments.

Final Results:

Not bad for a little bit of nothing . That is it for now, hopefully I will be working on some cool stuff in the next few weeks. All NA related possible Throttle Body Upgrade and maybe a set of those JUN EX Cams.

More to come!
