I believe the K&N and Mobil 1 are the same filter, but with one small difference. Unfortunetly I don't remember the difference anymore but I remember I'd rather use the Mobil 1 because of it.
Personally I use the Puralotor PureOne, but just this last change I switched to a Fram Ultra. They are both very good filters. I'm trying to nail down the efficiency on both but getting conflicting info. Also I disagaree with using a cheap filter, there are other issues besides filtering that are worth considering, like element construction that doesn't fall apart, ADBV that work as they should, etc. |
