Traction Control Kicks in After Gear Change

i think you need to get use to the car.

i have no issue mashing the gas into 2nd gear at WOT. no slipping no VDC (since i turn it off).
and let's not compare to a rx8. those things dont have much power. it reminded me of a prelude.

I'm happy to accept that my technique might need tweaking but I feel that the VDC is way too sensitive

VDC is very sensitive. It's a safety device, mine kills power from a 4-3 downshift sometimes. You could always buy that GTM traction control management system thing :P

What air pressure are you running? Mine barked the other day for no reason and I found I only had 31 pounds in one tire. Pumped to 35. Problem gone.

I wouldn't expect it either, this is wrong, never in a straight line. I would expect this if I got on the gas a little too soon.
