Do you have any other mods? If not, and even if you did, depending on what they are you will more than likely not need a tune. Will it make the car a little bit nicer to drive? Yes. But if you are concerned about warranty and don't feel like fighting dealers over it, I would not do it. As far as tuning, Uprev is pretty much the only option for us at the moment. It lets the tuner control settings on the stock ECU by flashing it. You cannot add "chips" to these cars. What are your goals anyway? Do you just want more power? If so, there are plenty of bolt on options for that.

Fighting the dealer with warranty issues is definitely more important that a few HP. Thanks for the input. |

Computer will adjust to your mods and make your car reach proper AFRs. A tune will do the same, give you about 6hp more and better throttle response amongst other things. It is also not cheap at over $750 for licensed cable and tune itself.
Other benefits of Uprev can be found here: http://uprev.com/secure/osiris-standard.html
