Loud shifts from 1st gear to 2nd

I feel it's more of a shift linkage noise rather than a transmission noise... One post suggests to slow down the shift from 1st to 2nd - this worked for me to eliminate the noise. Also, make sure the clutch pedal is on the floor before you take it out of 1st. Experiment a little with your shifting... JCA92 likes this.
