Yes, the 350Z uses different diff flanges than the 370Z. The 350Z uses bolts, washers and nuts to fasten the diff stubs to the axles, where the 370Z just uses bolts that thread into the flange assy OR axle joint assy with RED loctite. Interesting that the bolt head flips from the diff side to the tire side starting on the 2011s. The 350Z (Z33) always keeps the bolt head to the tire side and nuts on the diff side.
If you're changing out final drives, I created a post back on 5 JUN 2010 listing different final drive ring and pinions from the Frontier that bolt into the 350Z/370Z R200V. 350Z Open and VLSD differential axle joint assy inner both sides: 39711-AR402 Open differential flange assy both sides: 38220-AR000 VLSD differenital flange assy left side: 38220-AR011* VLSD differenital flange assy right side: 38220-AR010 flange assy bolt x12: 39606-22P0A flange assy washer x12: 08915-2401A flange assy nut x12: 39607-03P0A 370Z '09-'10 Open and VLSD differential axle joint assy inner both sides (thread): 39711-EG00A '11-'13 Open and VLSD differential axle joint assy inner both sides (no thread?): 39711-1BP0A '09-'10 Open differential flange assy both sides (no thread):38220-EG000 '11-'13 Open differential flange assy both sides (thread?): 38220-1NC0A '09-'13 VLSD differenital flange assy left side (no thread): 38220-JK01B* <--FAST superceeds this -'10 part number to the '11+ '09-'13 VLSD differenital flange assy right side (no thread): 38220-JK01A <--FAST superceeds this -'10 part number to the '11+ flange assy bolt x12: 39606-17V0B The 370Z axle flange assy bolt dimensions are: M10x1.25x~26, 14mm wrench, non threaded part of shank = ~8mm. ARP hardware to replace 39606-17V0B: M10x1.25x30 = ARP 663-1003 x3 hex bolts M10x1.25 (nut height ~10mm) = ARP 300-8364 & 300-8354 12pt nuts *=The O.S. GIKEN LSD and possibly other mechanical LSDs use two of these "stubs" due to the shorter length w/the C-clip. Last edited by L33T Z34; 08-20-2013 at 08:21 PM. Reason: more part numbers and ARP part numbers |
