Make sure it actually indicates that it is ester oil being used and not regular oil...

That's what I was thinking. I'm kinda leary of a "free" thing. I 'll give them a call and post the answer. " If it looks too good to be true, it probably is"

What does the coupon's fine print say?

It might be a general promotion and Ester won't apply to it.

Just stop worrying about it. The differences between all the modern full synthetics is 6 to one half a dozen to another. As long as You're happy with the performance/cost, then so what. Every brand is going to have fan boys/haters.

My philosophy is simple, if 80% of all racing teams use it, it must be alright. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

Might be just a regular oil change for other Nissan vehicles. You should definitely make sure before you make a decision. If it is the ester oil for the Z, just get the free oil change and use Mobil1 for your next oil change
