Just stop worrying about it. The differences between all the modern full synthetics is 6 to one half a dozen to another. As long as You're happy with the performance/cost, then so what. Every brand is going to have fan boys/haters.
My philosophy is simple, if 80% of all racing teams use it, it must be alright. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.
