Default Transmission Mainshaft Input Spline

Hey guys,

I don't own a 370Z, but a good friend from work does. I own a 280Z that I am putting a VK56DE into, and am planning on using a 370z transmission. Talking to quarter master atm about a price on the clutch and flywheel to suit this combo and they need to know the specs on the tranmission mainshaft input spline.

Does anyone know the outside diameter and number of splines?

I've downloaded the '09 service manual but have been unable to locate the specs on it in there.

Many thanks,

Dave

same as any 350z... make sure it is a CD009 transmission... and you are going to need a DE or revup bell housing to make the room for your crank sensor

or you can use the JWT adapter plate you will then need an automatic belhousing for your applicable engine

go to neo's garage he sells a flywheel and adapter plate that takes any 370z aftermarket clutch and the standard 370 6speed and mounts them to a vk56.
