It's probably not absolutely necessary yet, but I would go ahead and change the oil.
Random guy on the internet says the break-in process deposits tiny metal bits into your oil more than normal driving after the 1200 miles is done. Lots of people change their oil around 1500 to clean out all these bits. I'm pretty sure a Blackstone UOA will confirm this kind of thinking. FWIW, I don't think I got to change mine until closer to 3K miles. 53K miles later and no worries
