I am told by the dealership that Nissan requires the oil to be changed at 6000 km &/or 3months. This supposedly with their ester oil at about 150 Cdn $ each time. I just came from a Porsche where the change interval was one year or 24000 km-the longest I went in 12months was15000 km, had the oil analyzed as always, and the oil was healthy. Why this short interval required by Nissan other than to make the dealer a boatload of money? Thanks for any responses.
