if something is actually wrong with the car then it will pop up again. double check the install too but if it comes up again just get the code for it.

Er... any mods?

Autozone will scan and give you the code for free. With that we can better advise you...

You need to be a little more specific than just "aftermarket DVD player". Did you put in a new head unit or are you talking about a portable of some sort?

Did you disconnect the negative battery cable when you did the install?

Does everything else in the car work? AC, safety flashers? Sit in the passenger's seat and start the car and see if the passenger airbag warning flashes.

The steering wheel buttons won't work without an adapter and the Bluetooth won't work because that is part of the Bose setup if I'm not mistaken.

You may have just had two things happen at once. Meaning that they may not be related.
I pulled my seat out for part of my install and a few days after I did it, my airbag light came on. I drove myself nuts trying to figure out what was going on. Did airbag reset about a zillion times. Finally took it to the dealer and found out that the airbag was shot. I didn't do anything wrong, it just followed Murphy's Law (my last name BTW )
