After removing the helper spring and re-installing all of the other OEM components (another small spring and what appears to be it's housing) the clutch felt MUCH better. That being said, I would occasionally feel a "pop" when fully compressing the clutch and letting off (in every gear). This "pop" would end a little bit into my "sweet spot" making it hard to smoothly get the car rolling. After getting back under the seat... I realized that the smaller spring was getting stuck to the housing and popping out. This is a result of no tension on the smaller spring due to the lack of the OEM spring. I removed the smaller spring and housing... VIOLA. The clutch is pretty much perfect. I don't think I'll be purchasing an aftermarket spring! TL;DR = Remove everything you see below! ![]()
