Tell me something. If you have an open diff, turn a corner, and slam the throttle down midcorner, do you just spin the inside tire without breaking the back end

Tell me something. If you have an open diff, turn a corner, and slam the throttle down midcorner, do you just spin the inside tire without breaking the back end loose? If that's the case, my VLSD works great because my car is very tail happy. Just thinking of ways to test your VLSD given that melted plug.
