Popcorn sound

HI ALL! I've noticed that when the clutch is disengaged (clutch pedal in) that it makes a weird popping noise like popcorn. It doesn't seem to have a patterned sound.

I've noticed that when the clutch is disengaged (clutch pedal in) that it makes a weird popping noise like popcorn. It doesn't seem to have a patterned sound. There are no other problems otherwise. The car shifts fine with the exception of when I'm shifting under heavy power it seems jerky but I think thats just me learning to drive the car better. THANKS!
