I took breaks every 10-15 min I spent under the dash. Basically, I would do a few steps under the dash, and then a few steps at the work bench.

There are two things you can do to make working conditions a little easier and more comfortable. First is remove the driver side seat - I think it's only like four bolts although I didn't bother to do this. The second thing is to find something level with the door sill that you can lay on top of. I set a 2-drawer wooden filing cabinet on its side and covered it with a blanket so I could shove it up next to the car. You can use a pillow or two for extra comfort if you wish.
That is one reason i haven't bought one sooner.I work on cars for a living and i hate doing under dash work.I didn't even like putting in the softer assist spring.
