I'd add Awesome Z to that list. They installed my clutch and ZSpeed HD CSC and I've had zero issues. They also did my whiteline diff bushing and did a great job.

They are a Nissan approved service shop.

Some shops just quote Service Manual for Labor Hours even though they finish sooner. And then there are those that hide Labor cost in inflated parts cost. Bottom line , a honest shop would be much more successful. And I'm sure all us on this forum would have no problem dealing with such a shop if we knew we were given a fair deal & straight answers to our questions. I really wish I resided nearer to ZSpeed. But for now I am greatful for the advice & help I have received from Joe Allison & staff at ZSpeed. "KUDO's To ZSpeed!"

I placed my order today with ZSpeed for ACT Stage 2 High Performance Clutch Kit with the ACT Steel Flywheel (17.5 lb) & Motul dot 4 race brake fluid, & transmission front gasket. I previously ordered the HD CSC, CMC, Motul Trans Fluid, Short Insulated Clutch line from ZSpeed. All work will be done by AAM Competition in Maryland. Additionally the trans, & clutch hydraulics will be flushed and new fluids put in place. I will put pics, video's, sound clips, & updates, etc of same on this thread. I will list Pro's & Con's fairly. My preference is performance based, which may not be the needs of someone that just is daily commuter.

The Nissan rep that runs their Facebook page said I would receive a call on Friday between regular business hours to address my issue. They never called nor will they reply to my question. I believe they're dodging the issue. Everyone, get active, get online, and get posting!

I'd be interested to see a link to someone on this forum saying it requires adjustments every 2nd fill up. Because that is bogus. Or maybe their kit was installed by a monkey

The adjustment is needed as the clutch plate wears down. It is minor and needed very infrequently. I made a 1/2 turn adjustment (smallest you can make) after ~12K miles. There's no way you will run out of adjustments before needing to replace the clutch.

Read their site - " A very narrow window... unit requires adjustments..." That's Z1's words! Unless they updated their website . Part looks bulky; like to see how it fits with twin Turbo kit!

I cannot say how it would work with the various forced induction options, but Z1 might be able to give some guidance.

read it on The370ZForum when I first looked through the forum for help with my clutch issues and a member posted his experience with the CSC slave elimination kit. That didn't turn me off of the product though. What turned me off the product was the last paragraph from sellers Site when you view the slave elimination kit; ""Strongly Recommended: Please view a complete copy of the Installation Manual for the __ Motorsports Concentric Slave Cylinder Elimination Kit, PDF Installation Manual document available for download Here. Proper installation and adjustment of this kit will require end-user mechanical aptitude. That is just a standard disclaimer. The slave elimination kit functions in a very narrow window because the cylinder length is static once installed. Removing one bolt/nut and loosening two nuts allows you to extend the cylinder as needed to account for clutch wear. The clutch wear limit is only a few millimeters, so that is all you will be adjusting it over the life of the clutch. I won't profess to know exactly how much one turn extends the cylinder, but if a 1/2 turn is all that is needed every 10-12K miles (based on my personal experience) then my guess is that one turn adjusts the cylinder length about half a millimeter.

The process of the adjustment is quite simple. If you can get the car on jack stands and can use a wrench, you have enough mechanical aptitude to do the adjustment. The fact that you are all hung up on the generic Z1 disclaimer language and not on the fact that someone said it has to be adjusted every other time you fill up with gas (which is just flat out stupid) would leave me to believe that you have ulterior motives

I'm not suggesting this is the case; I am just telling you that is the impression that you are giving
