Default first oil change and...

I had a shop do it and I watched and they drained the oil and got a nissan filter and put it on, they put the cover and bolt on also...then they poured 5 quarts of 5w 30 mobile 1 synthetic oil, then poured a little bit after that and what was left in the 6th quart bottle was right in the middle of the 600 mark and 800 mark (readings on the side of the oil bottle) is this too much oil? Did they overflow my engine with oil? I know its supposed to be 5 and 1/8...

Have you checked the dipstick level? If its at the H level its fine even if it's a tiny bit over. In time it will burn some as it breaks in, if its more than past the H mark you may need to drain a little, to put at the H mark, too much is not good.

I checked and hard to read because the oil is soo clean...I know for a fact its not above the indent on the stick and no black smoke out of my exhaust...but like I said the 6th bottle of oil had oil in it right in the middle of 600 and 800 of the reading on the side...so sounds like id be barely above if I even am and nothing to worry about huh?

Unless they put an extra 5 quarts in, you're fine... don't worry about it.

sounds like they put in about 5.2 - 5.4 which is what the Z takes with a standard drain and refill, wtih oil filter change.
