Change in clutch pedal pressure.

Nissans in general are plagued with problems in the clutch hydraulics. Master cylinders and slave cylinders, sometimes both. Typically, if you're having the all-famous Nissan clutch malfunction, the clutch pedal won't come back up after being depressed and won't disengage the clutch. MULTIPLE Altima/Maxima/Sentra and 350Z's have been affected. It IS a design flaw and Nissan has made it pretty clear that they aren't going to fix it. Usually, the problem shows up with aggressive and high rpm engagement. It's happened to my 370Z once, but happened to my 2007 Altima 3.5SE MULTIPLE times.

It's a well documented problem if you start searching around on other Nissan forums.
