That issue happened to me on my 350Z but they covered it. It happened to me at 7000 miles on my 350Z.
I remember the mechanics from the Nissan dealer telling me how this only happened to me and that he never saw that before because Nissan uses a "truck" clutch for the 350Z. It is so solid that it should never brake he said. I was laughing my *** off, he did not like that too much but I was not going to debate with him how fragile stock clutch can be especially if they are defective which was most likely my case. They changed it and I drove hard for 46,000 miles. The replacement clutch never failed me again. This means there was a defect with the first one... So far my 370Z clutch is fine.
