I'm noticing my engine temperature is running higher than normal. Now it is 105° here, outside temperature. I can't see the level marks in the tank, never have been since

I'm noticing my engine temperature is running higher than normal. Now it is 105° here, outside temperature. I can't see the level marks in the tank, never have been since I've owned the car. It looks to me as if it could be emptied but I can't see the levels properly. I just shut off my engine picking up my coolant now from my storage and as the car sits it's almost at three clicks to the highest temperature. Of course that's freaking me the hell out.
