At the end of the day, its a good car, whether you are rowing gears or monkeying with flappy paddles. |
Quit making the manual boys feel better Memphis. We must break their will. :roflpuke2:
|
I don't check the forum for a weekend and all you bitches let these manual homo's take the lead? wtf?!
you're all better than that. i'm back for the party. lets go! :yum: |

Did you spend all weekend on the porch shouting at the 'dang kids', old man? You probably just have AT because your knees are giving out. Or maybe your momma dressed you up like a girl growing up, and that's why you can't drive a manual :stirthepot:

I know, I know... After I posted those links regarding all of the problems MTs have had, it was crickets in here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I think I just figured out why AT Zs tend to have higher mileage than those with MT - we're actually out DRIVING our cars, while the MT folks are busy WORKING on theirs.

Understood. Connected and engaged, but slower.

True on connected and engaged, but not always slower. -Raj |

Let's also not forget that 90st, who is the forum's resident highest mileage Z owner, has over 200K miles on his 2009 6MT :stirthepot: |

my mileage is that high but for the fact i only drive it 6-7 months a year its not bad for a 2009 |
Buying a sports car with an automatic tranny is what old men do. Hence the reason I couldn't find a used manual C6 Corvette in my area.

You know nobody has figured out how much power is required to break a MT. AT however is another story. :tiphat: |

its a crap shoot with the car's engine. some have blown 100% stock and others are pushing 15psi/650whp on e85 and stock block with no issues. |
Quote:
You can do the TT install without pulling the motor. Not ideal but it can be done. |
Quote:
TT you can leave the block in but enjoy bloody knuckles lol |

True. After doing it I'm pretty positive I could knock it out in one weekend |
I can't talk too bad about Jar. He is too close to me and might hunt me down and beat my azz.
You nailed two of the three things mentioned. I will let you guess Which two. |

That's one of the benefits to owning a G. Having the grill introduces a ton more air to keep things cool. I consistently read 15-20deg cooler coolant temp than comparably equipped Z's. |
Agreed, the Z really needs more air.
