Dealership won't do the gallery gasket job

When I replaced my gaskets preventatively (due to many posts I read here), the shop said the gaskets looked as good as new (at that time they were at 10k miles and 11 years old).

I think it's easier and simpler to just install an oil pressure gauge, so that you can always monitor status and if everything's ok, no need to change gaskets.

I've read it's a serious issue and I've read the failure rate isn't nowhere near as high as people make it out to be. My Z I've owned for almost 7 years and never had an issue. I guess some do and some don't lol

I changed out my gallery gaskets about a year ago on my 2011 and they were in perfect condition. They were really stuck onto the metal plate too and I had to scrap it off for like 30 minutes..

A couple of the screws could've been a bit tighter but asides from that they didn't needed to be changed.

That's what I did, 100k miles, 20psi pressure at idle. No reason to feed it money yet. For the cost of a shop to do it I'll probably just get a used 2014 up engine anyway.
