Exclamation P1608 code

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has had the issue of a p1608 code (vvel sensor power supply circuit). Per FSM I’ve checked the cams sensors and they read fine at 5v and I’ve replaced the vvel module and did the relearning. Car ran good for a couple of days and then right back to limp mode. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Slightly different code but maybe this thread has some relevant troubleshooting info?

P1606 VVEL issue/code

Also this one from myg37 forum. Check oil pressure? Might need dealer to do some reprogramming on the new VVEL module?

The oil pressure is good and the dealer did the reprogramming on that module. I will check out that link you posted tho. I’m replacing the relay next to see if that will work but if not I guess I’ll hand it over to the dealer again..

So update on my situation. Took it to the local infinity dealer. After a week of them having it, they told me they need to replace the vvel actuator motor assembly. Total cost so far 2400$. Just posting this Incase some of y’all ever run into this issue and are more tech savvy than I. I will update after I get it back to say how it’s running.

So I’ve had the car back for a month now or close to it. So far it’s ran great so I think I’m in the clear. So hopefully this can be helpful to any of you all that might run in to this issue and may it help you avoid paying as much as I did to get it taken care of.
