To set fill level by-the-book (FSM) requires Nissan's CONSULT equipment, the knowledge to use it, and the willingness to do the job properly. In my experience, most dealerships are lacking when it comes to the last two items.

Edit: A ticking noise can be caused by a rear wheel bearing not being set right. Might not be your problem but something to be aware of.
Thank you. Apparently everything is fine... I'll get my car from the dealer today, see what they say.... it does the clicking after the car's been given a thrashing mostly... but that's the only symptom... and only does it if you lug the engine... which i don't do... you have to do it purposefully to get the ticking noise.

Everybody at the dealer and also at a shop i know have told me that the transmission feels absolutely perfect. But I can't be guaranteed that they used the CONSULT equipment or nor...unless I be or had been there.

The thumping, it hasn't done anymore... I suppose may have been a temporary glitch with the ecu perhaps.

Weird stuff. Its not the most unreliable car I've had but certainly the one with the most finicky situations.
