6MT Tranny/Rear Diff. Question

The washer hasn't changed. That is the correct one. Also, you'll find different part numbers for the diff and trans. But it's the same washer

I've always put 75w90 in my diff. Since 2011. Never seen an 80w90 gear oil recommendation documented.

I figured it was the same damn piece and even called courtesy Nissan and my local Nissan (ironically also called courtesy Nissan of Tampa) and both told me it would not fit. I’m like wtf and my local Nissan kept referring to the copper washer for the motor oil drain bolt.

I bought a 2019 sport coupe with the 6MT and the Nissan owner's manual specs an 80W-90 conventional super hypoid GL-5 gear lube for the diff. I changed it out with Redline 75W-90 diff oil and the driveline friction is noticeably less.

I guess it varies by the year, which is what I read in a different thread.
