Default Drivetrain slack

Hello I recently got a 2013 370z and I have an issue with a drivetrain noise/movement. I first got the notorious axle click that many of the 2013s have so I’ve already ordered all the parts to fix that. The kawi castle nut solution anyways. But I let the problem go on for sometime and to be honest I fee a huge click in my drive train now. I also get the parking brake and slip light on a lot of my accelerations. The car feels almost as if I’m learning to drive stick and letting the clutch out to fast. It just seems kind of jerky when I shift. And I’d say ah I’ts just me I’m shifting a little rough but I’ve driven the car smooth as can be before so I know soemthing is up. Is it just the a severe case of the axle but being loose or has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

That sounds like a low brake reservoir level. Fill to the top of the line.

Not sure about the click/slack. Get someone to watch the driveline for movement while you put it under a load.

I understand the few corks the 13 Z’s had but as far as your issue is concerned the best possible way to diagnose this would be to take a ride with a technician to show them your issue it will be hard to diagnose over this forum. Though it is possible that this drivetrain slop could be a issue with your u joint on your driveshaft. U joints have a tendency to become loose and create drivetrain slop after time and only gets worse. U joint failure happens more times than not when you have high mileage or the vehicle was abused.

Sounds like the rear diff bushing may be blown. Look for the stream of tears down the diff cover.

had the same issue, it was ripped rear diff bushing, found oil drips on the diff cover, replaced with z1 uretane and the clanking almost dissapeared. next step to check the subframe bushings.
