I'm not having any luck searching for threads related to running E85 in a 2015 370Z NISMO, so would appreciate a link or a discussion.

I just swapped in some like new used injectors from a GTR, retuned it and picked up 20 hp.

I dont have an alcohol sensor, i just swap maps based on what ever fuel I want to run.

It's easy to do. I used a Zeitronix kit , ran the sensor inline with my feed line from the S1SE fuel return kit and wired the guage into the ECU. You'll need a tune after that and then poof......Corn fed. I'm still tuning but got my first taste of E85 last week. I had 1/3 tank of 93 at the time but the sensor reads E68 which is'nt bad. I opted for a Flex tune seeing as there are only 5 E85 stations in Orlando. If you don't have E85 all over the place I'd recommend you go the flex route too.

Keep in mind E85 isn't always 85% Ethanol. They sell different blends based on where you live, and what the air temps are like in your area. So, probably best to do the whole flex fuel system to be safe.

"In the United States, the exact ratio of fuel ethanol to hydrocarbon may vary according to ASTM 5798 that specifies the allowable ethanol content in E85 as ranging from 51% to 83%.[1] This is due to the lower heating value of neat ethanol making it difficult to crank engines in relatively cold climates without pre-heating air intake, faster cranking, or mixing varying fractions of gasoline according to climate. Cold cranking in cold climates is the primary reason ethanol fuel is blended with any gasoline fraction."

Have you compared that Zeitronix kit to a manual tester (test tube) to ensure it's accurate?

I have an ecutek tune that lets you adjust for ethanol content in real time using the Bluetooth app. All you need in addition is a set of injecotrs to supply the additional fuel as required.

This is the easiest way to go if you don't want to consistently test the E85. I've done some testing with different test tubes and some of them are over 10% what it actual is. Be safe and go flex fuel.
