I have often considered something like this..... The one in the link is for a motorcycle, but the concept is there. A manually controlled valve to bypass the oil cooler.

I have often considered something like this.....
The one in the link is for a motorcycle, but the concept is there. A manually controlled valve to bypass the oil cooler. In mild months---or on the street---leave if closed. For the track, spirited driving, or the 20 days consecutive days in Aug in OK that stay above 100F, open it up. My folks live in Tulsa.
