CJM S2.SE fuel return install question

Hello all, question for anyone who has installed this particular fuel return system with the CJM fuel pump hat kit, I've run into a roadblock attaching the stock factory fuel quick disconnect line to the new AN return barb on the top of the hat. I feel as if the two kits are missing a piece to do this, is there some sort of AN converter I need to buy in addition to the kit and hat? The instructions don't cover this, and I was hoping someone else has experience with the install.
