Is this normal?

Wow lots of interesting things said here. So basically because I drive it soft/casually most of the time, that is why auto feel laggy when it is given full pedal.

If in full auto then most likely.

Drop it into manual mode and should sort itself out since you control the shifts.

Not exactly. Any time you have not been driving hard for a while, the car goes into cruise mode. Once you get on it, it takes a second to switch modes. How you drove yesterday has no effect.

Yea thats what I mean, because I am always driving it soft in full auto, i only gunn it full pedal maybe once a week or 2 weeks.

Gun it a couple of times *before* you want to drive aggressively. This will prompt it to switch modes, and it'll be ready for you when you want it. Note that if you're doing this on the street, slowing down between stretches can possibly put you back in cruising mode.
