Play in drive shaft and thump under hard shift

I have a thump from under the car when shifting hard from 1st to 2nd mostly . I took it in for an oil change and had the mechanic looked

I took it in for an oil change and had the mechanic looked at the trans mount which apparently is ok . He said theres a bushing in the rear support that the diff is attached to that apperars to be cracked . Is this common ? Im assume its covered under 5 -50 so Ill contact the dealer My second problem is this . If I let the clutch out quickly so it just engages theres some ratteling that the mechanic says is play in the drive shaft . Is this normal?
