How much does a FD gear swap usually cost?

I cannot find any info on this. I'd like to do 4.08's but I can't figure out how much it'll end up costing installed.. What has everyone paid (including parts) to have them installed?

I had a local shop install 3.93 in the oem diff for 500. He was a friend of the family and I live in CT, so your mileage may vary.

Mine was about 1800 with parts and labor and buying the Manuel differential

I wish I would have known u wanted to swap Andrew. I snagged up an auto pumpkin from a 350 to go In mine to see if I liked it. Depending on what led I go with its far cheaper than converting the manual fd gear over. Although there is a much larger pool of lsd to choose from in a manual.
