Not quite sure I get what you are asking. The clutch master cylinder (CMC) is different from the concentric slave cylinder (CSC). The master is up at the top of the clutch system near the reservoir on the opposite side of the firewall from the clutch pedal. The slave is located inside the the transmission bell housing at the end of the clutch system. There is no way to see what the fluid in the CSC looks like without removing the transmission. You could drain the fluid I guess, but that's not going to tell you whether the CMC or the CSC has failed (unless recently changed fluid was just absolutely filthy - then you can be pretty sure at least one of them has failed), and it certainly won't tell you which one has failed.
