Ok, so the temp of the thermostat is when it's fully open, a 180 degree thermostat (water or on a sandwich plate for oil) will have some flow below the temp stated. It's just FULLY open at 180 or whatever.

You want to stay away from MiSHITimoto because their seals are crap, also, with the thermostat that's 150, you'll get a CEL because the car won't get to operating temp fast enough
