Just in case anyone was wondering, these are the parts that I bought from Nissan Courtesy Parts.

- 1 x [23731T] CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR - 370Z (Z34) 2009+ (23731-Z34002) = $89.35

- 1 x [23796+A] VALVE ASSY-SOLENOID,VALVE TIMING CONTROL - 370Z (Z34) 2009+ (23796-Z34002) = $165.15

I'm hoping that these two will resolve my problem and that code will go away. I'll be back to update after I receive and install it.

Hey guys,

So apparently, all my car needed was an oil change.. I bought those parts for no reason. . Oh well, you win some, you lose some. 20% restocking fee for the win!

Now you need to look at your oil filter. What brand? Was it due to a poorly built filter or did you just go way to far on the oil change? I only use Nissan oil filters. Learned over the years to just stick with them. Better quality.

I use the K&N filter. Maybe my next oil change, I'll use the OEM filter like you suggested. Thanks.

so the oil filter was clogged with only 3k miles? Either you had a defective oil filter or something else is wrong.

It probably was the filter. Ever since the oil change, the car has been running fine and no codes have been thrown at me for two weeks now. Hopefully I mean, I don't want to jinx myself.. And nothing is leaking either.
